  • 1908-1910 - October - Beginning of the first festival season. The Sabaparvam concluded.

  • 1914 - Anusasana Parva, Sandhiparva, concluded.

  • 1915 - Virata Udyoga Sri Bhishma Parva commenced and completed.

  • 1915-1919 - World War I; enlistment and embargo on publications.

  • 1920 - Durona Parva commenced and concluded.

  • 1921-1931 - Karnaparva, Salya, Ashramavasika, Prasthanam, and other chapters of Jaya and Bharata epics were published.

  • 1932 - Ramanujachariar presented the Tamil adaptation of the Mahabharata, totalling 18 parvas in 14 volumes with 9064 pages, to the Tamil people.
